MACRON OIL 2606 M-18 

Chlorine free, non-staining cutting oil 

Product Description 

Macron Oil 2606 M-18 is a high performance cutting oil for cutting operations on medium and high alloy steels as well as yellow metals.   

Macron Oil 2606 M-18 is formulated using carefully selected mineral oils.  A combination of polar extreme pressure additives with anti-wear additives provide the oil with high load carrying capabilities.  This combination of additives helps to reduce friction which can result in extended tool life while providing a good surface finish of the machined workpiece.   Macron Oil 2606 M-18  is formulated with an effective anti-mist additive, to help reduce misting in the shop. 

Applications

Macron Oil 2606 M-18 can be used in a wide variety of machining applications including milling, drilling, turning and grinding applications.  The lower viscosity of this product has made it ideal for use in grinding operations.    ¨

Macron Oil 2606 M-18 has a recommended shelf life of 3 years and should be stored at temperatures between 40ºF and 100ºF.
